Mexico 2003 Several other smaller but nevertheless interesing Maya sights were along our way south.
Fascinating is the front of the Palacio de los Máscaras. It's completely covered with more than 250 masks of Chaak. That's an area of 45 x 6 m. The exemplary fotographed one above unfortunately lost its nose as a matter of time but mostly because of the enormous weight of it.
The XXXXXX
The arc above is named to not only the most beautiful one. With its 6.5m, it is definitely the highest one an with a width of 4m in the center pretty impressive and a great architectural achievement for this time.
