Rio de Janeiro 2006 The Copabacana and Ipanema are the most famous beaches of Rio. It was already fascinating during the week to the crowds there doing their morning sports. But on the weekend even the complete street was closed for traffic to allow people to stroll along the shore.
My Sofitel was right and one end of the Copabacana - this picture taken at exact the other end...
