Rio de Janeiro 2006

"Santa Teresa's colorful colonial buildings, narrow brick-lined streets and sweeping views of downtown are a few of the reasons artists flocked in here [...] No other neighborhood has quite the energy Santa Teresa has [...] this neighborhood is worth getting to know" says Lonely Planet. That's why I went there and really had a good time.

The quarter not only has many colorful buildings but also a view on Corvocado Hill with the Christ statue on the one side...

...on the other side then view towards the sea!

The best view on Corvocado Hill then finally when I did a cycling tour with my colleagues around Lagoa Rodriga de Freitas

Hopefully I'll be coming back to this great city either on business of for private vacation!
