Next to El Calafate this
glacier impresses when under grolling noice parts of the ice
brake off and drop into the water. This, as the glacier is

Glaciers National Park (North) at El
Chalten
In the northern part of the national park,
mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre hide themselves in clouds for
most time of the year. Although we were encountering quite cold,
rainy and windy weather, we were lucky to see Cerro Torre with
its shape being mirrored in a lake. |

Torres del Paine National Park (Chile)
Travelling south towards
Chile, we spent three nights in the Torres del Paine National
Park over Christmas. This to hike most parts of the 'W' - a
multi-day trail in almost w-shape on the map. This to see Grey
Glacier and to climb to the Mirador of the Torres del Paine.

At the 'End of the World', we
stayed at the southermost city of the world in Ushuaia. We did
day trips (including bus, canoe, boat, hiking) into the national
park, a penguin island and to a private nature reserve on Goat
Island.

professionally performed and on the streets.

Jesuit Missions
A 12 hour bus ride north of
