Murray, USA...

Murray, Kentucky is my new home that I like pretty much. Together with Monika, Armin and Bernd we are living in a tiny, beautiful house just 500 meters away from the business building of the university. Our neighborhood is quite German. There are three more German houses just a few meters away from ours.

Murray itself is typically American. All kinds of fast food restaurants (McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Hardy's, Taco John's, Taco Bell, ...) can be found. Walmart is the most essential food market. You can find really everything in it and it is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

The landscape is pretty nice. There are huge lakes (up to 50 miles long) just 15 minutes by car away, and a few bigger cities (St.Louis, Nashville) can be reached for a day trip.

The weather is much more comfortable than expected. It's just not that hot any more but the sun is still shining nearly every day.
