As we want to get an impression of the whole city, we decide to climb "Overview Mountain" located in the metropolitan area of Phoenix.
"Phoenix began as a small farming community in the late 1800s, but high-tech jobs and shopping plazas have long since replaced the wheat fields. Shiny high-rises crowd the business district, while a vast web of six-lane strip mall highways surrounds downtown. Sun, sun, sun, and sun are the city's main attractions. During the balmy winter months, tourists, golfers, and business conventioners flock to Phoenix."
