LONDON 2005

Yap, Lufthansa gave us one more time the opportunity to take two days off at some real great destination - the capital of the U.K., a seven million inhabitants city, the home of the queen: LONDON
 
 

Our visit of the city started in Westminster. There we first had a look on the Houses of Parliament ...

...and afterwards on Westminster Abbey right next to them.

  

We kept on the tourist track and followed the masses to Buckingham Palace, passing the Parliament Square, Downing Street, the Horse Guards and St. James Park.

We headed back the city-center, or better the shopping center in the city in the streets around Picadilly Circus:
