Mount Rainier - Walla Walla We couldn't see Mt. Rainier from Seattle - and we couldn't from just a few miles away... but it was still impressive to end in the winter with closed roads and meter-high snow in mid-April.
And as we didn't want to spend all vacation in bad weather, we decided to drive further west to leave the mountains behind and to hopefully enjoy dry weather. And already the way to Walla Walla was quite impressive with its landscape and its flaura and fauna.
